Caer Caradoc & The Lawley Sunday Lunch Walk
We will meet nice and early on the public car park (free) next to the Royal Oak pub in Cardington to be back in time for a well-deserved Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak for those that would like to imbibe.
The Royal Oak is one of Britain’s oldest pubs and serves its famous ‘Fidget Pie’! Check it out here
This is a very sociable and steady stroll out of Cardington and a short cobweb blower of a lift up to the top of Caer Caradoc to take in the glorious panoramic views of Carding Mill Valley and Shropshire.
We’ll then drop into the saddle between Caer Caradoc and The Lawley before our final short climb up to the top of The Lawley and its then all downhill back to the pub.
This is a great Sunday morning leg stretcher with views as far as the eye can see on a clear day.
A great way to clear the mind, body and soul in preparation for whatever the week ahead has in store.
For those that would like to round the morning off with a home cooked Sunday lunch, you will be well looked after and catered for by the welcoming atmosphere and staff at the Royal Oak.
If you indicate on your booking form whether you would be interested in Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak and for how many people (plus an indication of any dietary requirements), then I will make enquiries and bookings with the pub on your behalf.
